W?sil?nd Neste Oil sign maintenance agreement for eight vessels

The agreement coversboth the main and auxiliary engines, delivered by W?sil?for eight vessels inthe Neste Oil's fleet. According to the agreement, W?sil?ffers maintenanceoperations, spare parts, including performance optimisation, as well as anannual visit of specialists to check the optimal operation of each vessel'sengines under running conditions."Our strategy is to use the original manufacturer's spare parts in the dieselengines' critical sections and the manufacturer's service personnel in majoroverhaul works. Now with this maintenance agreement we can fulfil our strategyin the most cost efficient way. We do see additional value like annualperformance tests and enhanced communication between our operational personneland W?sil?'s technical support.
