Outotec to start employee negotiations in Finland
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - OUTOTEC OYJ PRESS RELEASE, FEBRUARY 9, 2010 AT 9.05 AMOutotec to start employee negotiations in FinlandOutotec will launch a new operational model globally as of April 1, 2010 inorder to ensure solid financial performance in the weakened market situation.The target of the new operational model is to accelerate growth strategyimplementation and to improve internal efficiency and flexibility, so that theprofitability of operations can be maintained even when order intake is lower.Because of the restructuring of businesses and declined order intake Outotecwill start employee negotiations in Finland on February 11, 2010.Initial estimate of the need for personnel reduction is globally 170 employees,of which approximately 120 employees in Finland.
