Metso to rebuild two paper machines for Shandong Chenming Paper in China
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Metso Corporation's press release on February 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. local timeMetso will supply two fine paper machine rebuilds for Shandong Chenming PaperHoldings Limited's subsidiary mills in China. The total value of the orders isapproximately EUR 10 million. The orders are a continuation to Metso's earlierdeliveries to Shandong Chenming Paper. The orders are included in Paper andFiber Technology's Q4 of year 2009 orders received.Metso's delivery to Wuhan Chenming Hanyang Paper in Wuhan, Hubei province willinclude a film size press, an air dryer and an upgrade of the after-dryersection. A rebuild of the press section with a shoe press and an upgrade at theBCTMP (bleached chemithermomechanical pulp) plant will be supplied to ShouguangChenming Art Paper in Shouguang, Shandong province. The rebuilt paper machine atWuhan is scheduled to start up late 2010, the rebuilt machine at Shouguang in2011.Wuhan Chenming Hanyang Paper Co., Ltd. and Shouguang Chenming Art Paper Co.,Ltd. are subsidiaries of Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings Limited, one of thebiggest paper producers in China.
