Considerable installation and totalcost savings are obtained, as insulation thickness and weight are shrinked 3 to5 times compared to conventional solutions. NANOXER is targeting specificapplications where highly effective insulation, fire protection and value-in-useare required in the fast growing 30 US$ billion world insulation market, namelyin Industrial Processes, Shipbuilding and Building and Construction (B&C). TheIP protected technology has demonstrable and sustainable competitive superiorityand intrinsic cost advantages compared to new generation aerogel-basedsuperinsulating materials. The team track record includes researchers whodeveloped mass-used automotive ceramic materials, managers with internationalstrategy experience and with responsibility in setting up and operating severalindustrial chemical production units.
