P?'s 2008-2009 pro forma figures based on the new business structure
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - P?RY PLC Company Announcement2 February 2010 at 8.45P? announced its new vision on 2 December 2009. In the same connection P?presented its new business structure. P? adopted the new business groups asof 1 January 2010. P?'s financial reporting starting from the interim report 1 January - 31 March 2009 will be according to the new structure.In the tables below the quarterly figures for 2008 and 2009 have been adjustedto match the new business groups. The segment information is based on managementreporting and is according to IFRS standards.The Energy business group offers multifaceted engineering and supervision aswell as technical advisory services. The group focuses its operations in theareas of hydropower, renewable energy, thermal power, oil and gas, nuclearenergy and transmission and distribution.The Industry business group provides engineering and project implementationservices for investment projects worldwide, maintenance engineering andcomprehensive local services to the mills. The business group's main focus is onforest industry, in addition to which it will expand into other areas ofindustrial processes and facilities such as chemicals. The Industry businessgroup will invest in the development of a more complete offering coveringresources such areas as biomass, biofuels and biomass based chemicals.The Urban & Mobility business group service offering covers urban development,real estate development, transportation planning, rail and road infrastructure,construction management and building design. It will offer clients leading-edgesustainable solutions from planning through to project realisation.Water & Environment focuses on water supply and sanitation, water resourcesmanagement, geosciences and environmental services.The Management Consulting business group offers consulting services in all thoseareas that have synergies with the rest of the P? Group.
