Tieto signs a framework agreement with the Swedish Kammarkollegiet

Suppliers were chosenin a tender competition for overall IT operations. The framework agreements withthe chosen suppliers coverIT management services in the public sector and willaffect all government agencies, 232 municipalities as well as 19 county councilsand regions. The total order value is estimated at approximately SEK 4 billionduring an initial 5-year period."We are extremely pleased that Kammarkollegiet has chosen Tieto as a supplier.IT management services and outsourcing are our focus areas, and today's decisionshows that our offer is seen very attractive," says Krister H?, head of theIndustry Group at Tieto Sweden.The agreementencompasses services for the operation, development and support ofIT infrastructure and applications. So far, the value of outsourcedoperations is only about SEK 2.3 billion. Kammarkollegiet's framework agreementfor overall IT operations will now make it easier for the public sector to openup its IT operations to competition.Tieto works continuously on developing high-qualityIT management services and isexpanding its capacity in Sweden through a new, modern data centre.
