Metso to supply front end system for high density fiber board plant to SWEDSPAN Polska in Poland
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Metso Corporation's press release on January 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. local timeMetso will supply a complete front end system for ultra-thin fiber boardproduction to SWEDSPAN Polska, Poland. The system will be installed at thecompany's mill in Bielsk Podlaski, northeast of Warsaw. The delivery of thesystem will start in the fall of 2010. The value of the order will not bedisclosed. The order is included in Paper and Fiber Technology´s Q4 of year2009 orders received.Metso's scope of delivery will comprise a complete front end system from thewoodyard to the EVO Defibrator system. Furthermore, the delivery will includeelectrical and process control systems, steel structures, as well asinstallation for the complete scope of supply. The system will deliver highquality fiber at lowest possible production cost and environmental impact.SWEDSPAN Polska sp. z. o. o. is part of the international SWEDSPAN Group andwill set up a mill for ultra-thin HDF (high density fiber) boards in the BielskPodlaski region in Poland.
