INCAP SUCCEEDED IN THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES' WORKING ENVIRONMENT EVALUATION
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Incap Corporation Press release 21 January 2010 at 10.30 a.m.Incap succeeded in the Technology Industries' working environment evaluationIncap's Vuokatti factory has won the series for Electronics and ElectrotechnicalIndustry in the working environment evaluation contest arranged by theFederation of Finnish Technology Industries. A total of 117 companies took partinto this competition, 12 of which were included in the series for Electronicsand Electrotechnical IndustryThe working environment competition aims to raise companies' productivity,industrial safety and working atmosphere to an excellent standard. Theindustrial safety district's inspectors are evaluating working conditions indifferent locations in production, ergonomics, equipment safety, generaltidiness and factors affecting working environment. In addition to these, alsothe number of work related accidents and sick leaves are measured.The safety at Incap's Vuokatti factory has been enhanced among others byimproving storage of goods and by intensifying work planning and by clarifyinginstructions of machinery. The personnel number at the factory was 130 at years'end. The number of work related accidents is low and no severe accidents havehappened since 1990's. Accidents happened have been minor cutting wounds, slipsand twists and sick leaves due to these have been minor."We are very happy with our ranking and the award. Participation in acompetition like this is a good way to enhance safety at work.
