(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Notice is hereby served that an extraordinary general meeting of Ignis ASA (the"Company") will be held on 8 February 2010 at 08:30 hours in the offices of ABGSundall Collier (Munkedamsveien 45 E, 7(th) Floor, 0115 Oslo).As described in the attached notice, the Board of Directors requests permissionto carry out a capital increase of up to 10 million shares, to fund an increasedrequirement for working capital as a result of substantial growth in sales andorder intake.Reference is made to share notifications from the company on 7 and 12 January2010, respectively, concerning a new frame agreement with Korea Telecom fordeliveries of optical splitters, a frame agreement in China for delivery ofAWGs, and an agreement for delivery of tunable lasers to a major fiber optictransmission equipment manufacturer. Deliveries under these new agreements willhave a minimum value of USD 12-13 million.The company expects a continued strong demand development in all product areasin both existing and new markets going forward.Oslo, 18.01.10 Ignis ASA Henrik A.
