His successor is Dr MichaelSoormann. A member of the executive board of Franke Artemis Group asof 1 January 2010, Dr Soormann will be responsible for that group'sstrategic holdings.Michael Pieper will in future be focusing his efforts on thereorganization of the Franke Artemis Group. His place on the Board ofDirectors of the technology group Feintool is to be taken by DrMichael Soormann. A German national, Dr Michael Soormann (51) will bea member of the executive board of Franke Artemis Group as of 1January 2010. There he will be responsible for strategic holdings, ofwhich Feintool International Holding AG is one. A business managementspecialist with a doctorate in political science, Dr Soormann hasbeen an executive manager with Franke Group for about two years.Prior to that, he worked for MBT/Degussa/BASF Construction ChemicalsSchweiz AG for over ten years in a number of different managementposts.Franke Artemis Group's stake in Feintool International Holding AG,which it has held for a number of years, will not be affected by theplanned change.The Chairman of the Feintool International Holding AG Board ofDirectors, Alexander von Witzleben, is sorry that Michael Pieper isstepping down.
