Tieto enters the Chinese operator market with a solution to China

The delivery includes thetechnical solution regarding how to encapsulate China Mobile'snetwork-end capabilities into the Symbian/S60 client-end and a demothat verifies its feasibility. The solution forms a base for ChinaMobile to further explore the development of its proprietary SoftwareDevelopment Kit. The deal is a significant opening for Tieto into theChinese marketplace, and it further strengthens the company'sposition as a major services and software partner in the SymbianFoundation.China Mobile is the world's largest mobile operator with about 500million subscribers. Mobile Market is a mobile application store formobile subscribers, who can preview, purchase and downloadapplications online from both web and WAP portals.This project has required a deep understanding of Symbian/S60 UIframeworks and application development, as well as knowledge on awide range of development techniques, such as Symbian client/server,SDK authentication and network management and data interactiontechniques.
