Composition of Rautaruukki's Nomination Committee
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Rautaruukki Corporation Stock exchange release 3 November 2009 at11:00Rautaruukki's Annual General Meeting held on 24 March 2009 decided toappoint a Nomination Committee to prepare proposals regarding thecomposition and remuneration of Board of Directors to be elected atthe following Annual General Meeting. The Nomination Committeeconsists of representatives of the three largest shareholders as at 2November 2009, together with the Chairman of the Board of Directorsas an expert member and with another expert member who is appointedby the Board of Directors from among its members and is alsoindependent of company's major shareholders.Rautaruukki's three largest shareholders at 2 November 2009 wereSolidium Oy, Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company and VarmaMutual Pension Insurance Company.These shareholders have chosen their representatives on Rautaruukki'sNomination Committee: Kari Järvinen, Managing Director, Solidium Oy;Timo Ritakallio, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ilmarinen MutualPension Insurance Company; Matti Vuoria, President and CEO, VarmaMutual Pension Insurance Company.
