Thailandfreunde (Thai-German Friendship Association) Section Thailand elected new executive board /C

The bilateral social Organization Thailandfreunde (Thai-German Friendship Association) Section Thailand, elected the new executive board for the season 2009-2010 the beginning of november 2009 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Further it has been announced that the organization will be the co host of the 2nd magnificent Siam Textile Fair in Bangkok taking place the 27th of november 2009 under umbrella ship of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsavali from Thailand

(firmenpresse) - Thailandfreunde Section Thailand (Thai German Friendship Association), which is a daughter organization of Thailandfreunde e.V. an officially registered social and human rights organization in Germany, elected a new executive board for the season 2009-2010.
Chairman will be the Thai citizen Wuttipong Arayatumsopon (31, Chiang Mai) who has had the position already the last 12 month.
New in the team as vice chairman is Thai citizen Nuttapong Rungjang (23, Pattaya and Bangkok) and Thai citizen Palacha Kosayothin (35, Bangkok).
The president of Thailandfreunde e.V. international,German citizen Dirk Weeber-Arayatumsopon (35, Chiang Mai and Birkenheide in Germany) will also hold a position in the section as vice chairman.
Frank and Vanitha Sethi from Chiang Mai will stay in their functions as chashiers, while Marisa Chuchan from Chiang Mai will stay in her function as financial director of the organization.
New elected as script leader is Thai citizen Anniruth Hahnschumset (23, Chiang Mai).
Assessors for the next period in alphabetic order will be:
Isabel Benusilho (Chiang Mai and Paris-France, French citizen)
Maurice Benusilho (Chiang Mai and Paris-France, French citizen)
Janet Henry (Chiang Mai, American citizen)
Rudolf Langenhorst (Chiang Mai, Canadian citizen)
Richard Olson (Chiang Mai, American citizen)
Heiko R. Schmitt (Chiang Mai and Berlin-Germany, German citizen)
Phanna Suwanrueng (Chiang Mai. Thai citizen)
Coopted in to the executive board are German citizen Peter Heinrich (Munich, Germany) and John Valentine (Chiang Mai, American Citizen).
In the report of responsibility Chair man Wuttipong Arayatumsopon gave an overview what the Thai German Organization did in the last 12 month.
So he told the press that about 900.000 Baht has been transferred to people in need in Thailand.
205.000 Baht to the Northern School for the blind and disabled children in Chiang Mai,
200.000 Baht to the HIV prevention project of her Royal Highness Princess Soamsavali

100.000 Baht to the International Rooftop Party Chiang Mai
50.000 Baht to Projects of Dr. Chao na Chiang Mai
100.000 Baht to an orphanage in Lamphun
And equipment, medication, clothes, hygiene stuff worth more than 250.000 Baht to several projects in the area of Chiang Mai.
With 4 big events, Thailandfreunde entertained people in Chiang Mai and in Bangkok.
Thailandfreunde Section Thailand will go on with their social duties and they look forward to hold more events in the next 12 month in the areas of Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Pattaya.
Next event will be the co hosting of the 2nd magnificent Siam Textile Fair in the Pantip Suite Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, under the "umbrella ship" of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsavali from Thailand, the 27th of November 2009.
