Rehacare 2009: New Lift Solutions - LIVE
ThyssenKrupp Treppenlifte, a company of ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG, Duesseldorf, presents its latest products and improved solutions for barrier-free living at the international trade fair Rehacare in Duesseldorf. Apart from riding different lifts and attending technical demonstrations, visitors have the opportunity to try an „age suit” – to experience first-hand how old age affects mobility.
(firmenpresse) - The new platfom lift „Supra” will be introduced for the very first time; this is the ideal lift wheelchairs, suitable for public as well as private surroundings. “Supra” allows for barrier-free access on curved staircases resp. stairs with landings, inside and outside of buildings. Its attractive design guarantees most simple operations: the control lever was designed by experts with respect to ergonomic requirements. This design has proven successful for the „parent product“, the „RPsp“ platform lift for straight staircases. Both products thus form an optically harmonic entity when installed in combination in public surroundings.
And there’s news on „Flow II“: this shapely chairlift, awarded the „Rehacare Design Award Good Design 2008/2009“ www.rehacare-award.de last year, is available as of now with two new vertical start rail options, which require little or no space at the bottom of the stairs. This means that passages and doors are no longer obstacles to the installation of a Flow II, which is particularly suited for curved, steep and narrow staircases thanks to its unique automatically turning seat. There is no staircase any more that Flow II can not conquer!
An other innovation presented at the stand is a new photogrammetric measurement system which allows for quick, easy and exact measuring of staircases and thus renders construction of a tailor-made chairlift even more simple – and considerably reduces delivery times for the benefit of our customers. Beyond that, the „age suit“ gives visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand how exhausting it is to climb stairs when mobility is impaired – and how much relief a chairlift brings.
Themepark „Wohn(t)raum“ in Hall 3 deals with the subject of „Innovative living concepts for senior citizens and people requiring special care and assistance“. In this themepark, ThyssenKrupp Treppenlifte presents a tailor-made solution to overcome the „staircase barrier“.

The lift solutions of ThyssenKrupp Treppenlifte – from platform- to chairlift and so-called „Home Elevator“, a lift for individual homes – are on show and available for testing from October 14 to 17 at stand D 64 and in the “Themenpark „Wohn(t)raum“, both in Hall 3 of Messe Duesseldorf.
