(Thomson Reuters ONE) - PÿYRY PLC Press release 30 June 2009 at 3.20 p.m.PÿYRY AWARDED PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR METRO EXTENSION IN SAOPAULO, BRAZILPöyry has been awarded a lender's engineer contract by the MetroCompany of Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the extension of the metro in thecity of Sao Paolo with a new Line 4. The scope of services includesproject management, technical and financial assistance, providingtools for cost and quality control as well as for scheduling. Thevalue of Pöyry's services amounts to EUR 3 million.By far the busiest metro in South America, Sao Paulo metro servesmore than three million passengers a day. The new Line 4 will be animportant addition to the city's metro network. Running fullyunderground, this 12.8 km-long section will comprise ten stationswhich will be executed in two implementation stages.
