Prior to joining Aker, he held theposition as senior consultant at PA Consulting Group. From 1992 to1996 he held various management positions in the TTS Group. Kjelstadis Chairman of Aker Philadelphia Shipyard ASA, Aker Oilfield ServicesLtd, and Aker DOF Deepwater. Kjelstad holds a Master of Science(M.Sc) degree in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University ofScience and Technology (NTNU). As of 31 December 2007, Kjelstad holds2 500 shares in the company, and has no stock options. Kjelstad is aNorwegian citizen.
