ReadSoft signs US$250,000 deal with U.S. government organization
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - ReadSoft's SAP-certified invoice processing solution will beimplemented at a U.S. government organization to automate itsaccounts payable operations. The deal covers the processing ofhundreds of thousands of invoices annually. The order, placed at theend of June, is worth approximately US$250,000.Having chosen SAP as their business system several years ago, thecustomer also wanted to improve its accounts payable processes byextending the financial system to also automatically read and processsupplier invoices. Today, it manually handles all data connected toinvoices by using a procurement system to generate purchase orderdata and transfer it into SAP. Invoice data is manually entered intoSAP for line item matching, a time consuming and inefficient way ofhandling invoices.In order to gain efficiencies and to streamline the 3-way matchingprocess, this governmental body searched for an automated invoiceprocessing solution.
