(firmenpresse) - Munich, the most northern city of Italy. This much stressed attribute stands behind our Exhibition series and gives reason to present an artistic homage to ‘Bella Italia’. First and foremost the immediate proximity motivates one to run views across the Brenner Pass.
The interchange with Italy, the interest in ‘Res italiani’ and the charm of Italian lifestyle within Munich, assuredly is far more developed than in any other German city.
With our two summer exhibitions we portray an unique artistic approach to the country of vague desires.
Besides contemporary artistic paintings, graphics, objects and photography from Italy, there lies the German view to Italian art and culture which canÂ’t be missed. The Exhibitions delivers all this in a diversified range of self-ironic reflection, with a hint of erotic, from an entreaty of magnificent Italian art-personalities, up to the sumptuous reproduction of Italian cultural historic monuments.
Not only does the artistic journey via the Ridge of the Alps happen through the exhibition. In a vast build up of supporting events one can also enjoy sensuous indulgences like wine tasting, an evening with culinary delicacies, music, film showings as well as a temporarily installed ‘evening – only’ ice cream parlour.
