Amcor TapeTop® keeps your herbs fresh
Portuguese retailer Pingo Doce and their packer ELS, Lda have recently introduced Amcor TapeTop® for their fresh cut herbs. Amcor TapeTop® (patent pending) is an incorporated reclosing mechanism on a standard pack which allows multiple reclosing and therefore helps to reduce food waste. To keep your herbs fresh once the pack has been opened, simply detach the strip, roll the film down and tape over the top.

The modified atmosphere inside the pack created by the film technology slows down the metabolism of the herbs. By using Amcor P-Plus® with Amcor TapeTop®, the packaging helps to keep the herbs fresh and to retain their flavours for longer.
Amcor TapeTop® can be applied on a variety of films and also suits other market segments such as snacks, confectionery or dried beverage powder.
