SAP Switzerland certifies itelligence AG as Hosting Partner
(firmenpresse) - Zurich, December 16, 2008 – itelligence AG Switzerland is celebrating a great success in hosting. Following a full SAP audit, SAP officially certified the itelligence computing center in Zurich which opened on September 1, 2005.
This certification is official confirmation that the itelligence computing center in Zurich completely fulfills the services stipulated by SAP from hosting through enterprise support and also provides its customers with SAP process and quality standards. The certification follows a strict selection and inspection process that measures the quality of service in addition to technical and organizational requirements.
Since it opened three years ago, the hosting center has been developing its operations and services on an ongoing basis. The center means itelligence can provide its customers with a full-service offering on all SAP applications from the very outset.
The computing center offers the highest standard of security and fulfills the IT security standards laid down by the Swiss Federal Banking Commission. itelligence performs hosting services for all SAP business suites and SAP NetWeaver solutions.
“In addition to the SAP project, advice and licenses business, the Outsourcing & Services segment is an important component of itelligence AG's global activities with a revenue share of over 28%. As the primary contractor in Switzerland, we are responsible for the entire spectrum, from the implementation of the SAP solution through to the day-to-day operation of the computing center, including the hotline. Local certification as SAP hosting partner is confirmation that we also provide the services – communicated recently by SAP – in conjunction with the SAP Enterprise Support Services,” commented Claude Flükiger, Managing Director of itelligence AG.
“We are proud of the SAP hosting partner certification as this is an indication that in optimizing our services and processes on an ongoing basis, we are on the right path,” added Roland Lüthi, business unit manager with itelligence.
The certification is valid for two years, after which SAP will regularly reaudit. itelligence AG in Switzerland is part of the global company itelligence AG, based in Germany. The company, which specializes in SAP consulting and SAP hosting, recently opened a new computing center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, its sixth center overall.
