Plunet BusinessManager integrates Outlook E-mail Client
Berlin/October 2008. Communication is everything. With the full integration of Outlook Webaccess, Plunet now offers all of the advantages of Outlook for all customers on the Plunet BusinessManager platform.
(firmenpresse) - And the best bit: the highly dynamic e-mail client is directly linked to the outstanding document management features of Plunet via an intelligent high-end interface. In this way, automated and project-specific document filing including a complete contact and project history is guaranteed at any time and in any place.
The new integration of Outlook has also met with a very warm welcome from inside Plunet. "I have been used to the advantages of Outlook for years and wouldn’t want to miss them from my day-to-day work", explains Daniel Rejtö, communications and marketing manager at Plunet. "We use BusinessManager for our project management just like our customers, and this integration marks a real world-first – and, as a development, it is unique for our industry in terms of its scope", adds Rejtö with excitement.
As well as the functions already mentioned, Plunet OutlookManager also offers a number of excellent additional functions. For example, existing e-mail templates can be seamlessly copied into the new system and edited. Among other things, this makes the automated assignment of jobs to translators even easier. In addition, familiar outlook functions like the calendar and schedule functions are fixed parts of the integrated tool. It combines the best of two systems into a perfect new solution. Plunet OutlookManager is available now as an upgrade for all Plunet BusinessManager versions.
