SAP Global Hosting Partner itelligence establishes hosting hub in Malaysia
(firmenpresse) - Bielefeld (Germany), September 23, 2008 - itelligence AG has announced the opening of a new site in Cyberjaya (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), just in time for this year's annual DSAG conference in Leipzig (Germany). itelligence will utilize one of the highly available computing centers of NTT Communications there and immediately offer its complete range of SAP Hosting Services throughout Asia. The internationally successful SAP Global Hosting Partner is thus providing an additional state-of-the-art computing center specially geared to the Asian market and also strengthening its local market presence.
The Asian market and its specific market conditions are no unknown territory for itelligence. In fact, itelligence’s SAP consultants have already carried out a large number of successful projects in Southeast Asia. Furthermore, itelligence has been tapping into the Asian market since its first Asian subsidiary opened in Shanghai (China) in March 2008.
Like all other locations, the computing center in Cyberjaya (Malaysia) fulfills the high security requirements of itelligence and is designed as a readily-available Level 3 computing center. In addition, the new site is a POP of the worldwide NTT backbone and is therefore especially suited for all companies that must connect with multiple Asian locations, since NTT provides very large, individual network capacities to the Asian sector as one of the world's largest telecommunication companies.
With the new site in Cyberjaya, itelligence AG now operates computing centers worldwide, with centers based in Germany, Poland, Switzerland, the USA and now in Malaysia. All SAP applications can be operated at all sites in a highly available and secure manner.
Oliver Schreiber, Director of Outsourcing & Services at itelligence AG adds: "In order to also be able to quickly deliver unified concepts and services to our customers in Asia in the accustomed high level of quality, we have turned around the often-used offshoring concepts performed by many multinational companies. In combination with a local 1st level competent help desk in the native language and local time zone, we are able to support our customers in their internationalization with a high level of quality and stability at an attractive price level."
