With the arrival of Summer, Utopia UK Limited have launched new season Cherries using Amcor’s innovative PushPop pack.
(firmenpresse) - Available in Waitrose, Utopia chose Amcor Push Pop “because it met all of our criteria – it is a pack that stands out from the crowd in terms of product branding, both easy to open and with a wide opening and, reduces our overall pack weight” commented Lawrence Andrew, Packaging Manager.
Today’s consumers want easy to open packaging solutions which can be opened without knives, scissors, or destroying the packaging entirely. Amcor’s PushPop allows Waitrose customers to just push in the special perforation on the top of the pack, pop the pack open, and enjoy the Waitrose Cherries.
As Utopia have demonstrated, the stackable and stand-up Amcor PushPop offers excellent on-shelf product differentiation as the entire surface can be printed, including the top and the bottom of the pack.
The Amcor PushPop is ideal for a wide range of fresh produce - it is perfect for single use fresh produce or can be used to replace trays and punnets which importantly, provides a pack weight reduction. Food waste is also reduced through the application of Amcor’s modified atmosphere technology, P-Plus.
