Ontos launches new chart function and new objects identification within the news portal
Nidau, Switzerland, December 19, 2007 – Ontos™ has launched a new chart function and added new objects and relations within the automatic identification and extraction for the news portal http://news.ontos.com.
(firmenpresse) - Elections are currently held in many countries. Therefore Ontos extended the model of automatic identification of objects and relations by political expressions. For example different parties are recognized and put in relation with persons. This allows a better and meaningful view into the automatic aggregated political news.
The new function "charts" allows comparing objects on a graphic level by consider either the number of documents or facts over a time. Within the chart function the user can select more than one object in order to compare them for the same time period. This function can be used for example to figure out if and how advertising efforts reflect in the press.
