Following the latest success with the worldwide launches in Sydney, Las
Vegas and Hong Kong, Blacklane is now continuing its expansion in France,
in Marseille and Lyon. The international company offers a new alternative
in daily transportation needs, providing customers with airport transfers,
transportation to and from meetings and as-directed chauffeur services.
'We said that we go where our customers go. And we really meant it.' states
Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane, adding, 'We are on the way to
becoming the number one international companion for their entire journey.'
Paris, Marseille and Lyon are the biggest cities in France and as such they
have many visitors that need for example a pickup from the airport. 'We
have learned from our experience in Paris and Nice and we know that our
French customers demand a high standard of comfort and reliability,'
Wohltorf states.
Marseille is the second largest city in France, with the most important
commercial port in the Mediterranean area. Through the importance of the
city's port, Marseille attracts many business travelers. 'But not only
business men are our clients,' Frank Steuer, also co-founder of Blacklane
states, 'The tourists, who come to Marseille because of its beauty and
pleasant climate, enjoy our services too.' He continues. The high-end
limousine service is already available in Paris and Nice. Marseille is the
third 'Blacklane City'.
As Frances' third biggest city with the second largest railway junction,
Lyon has more than 1 million residents. 'Blacklane is attractive for
visitors and business travelers, who do not want to take the train or the
taxi,' Wohltorf states. 'When arriving at Perrache or Part-Dieu, our
limousine service is a reliable and luxurious alternative to taking the
taxi.' He continues. From the many bookings and the positive customer
feedback in Paris, one can see that Blacklane is already an established
partner for travelers and residents alike. With the newest expansion in
France, the company wants to fulfill the customer needs.
Having received overwhelmingly positive feedback wherever it launches,
Blacklane is firmly establishing itself as one of the leading international
players in the limousine service industry. 'Local providers welcome us
wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of
diminishing it.'
Bookings can be made around the clock, online, or with the company's
smartphone app. After specifying their pick-up location and booking period
or desired destination, customers can choose from one of three classes of
vehicles (Business Class, Business Van /SUV, First Class) at a binding
fixed price including all taxes and fees. Cars can be booked up to fifteen
minutes before the customer's required pick-up time.
After booking, customers receive a confirmation of their order as well as
their chauffeur's contact details. Payments can be made by credit or debit
card and, for companies, can be billed on a monthly basis. All customer
invoices can easily be downloaded from their MyBlacklane account.
Blacklane limousines can now be booked in 19 countries: Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Canada, China (incl. Hong Kong and Macau), Colombia, Czech
Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands,
Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S.
