Treofan signs agreement with Works Council and Union, to invest in
Treo-Pore(R) capacity
Raunheim, 12 October 2011 - Treofan Group, a global leader in high-end BOPP
films, has reached a multi-year agreement with its Works Council and Union
on site security contract and the terms of future cooperation for all
German employees. Treofan will continue to focus on its cost-reduction
strategy in this challenging market environment.
Treofan will further develop the Neunkirchen site in Germany, adding an
additional line for Treo-Pore(R) products. These high-end membrane films
are utilized by several types of energy storage and transmission devices.
Treofan is fully committed to delivering the best value to its customers
and will continue to improve its competitive position in the market with
the support of its Works Council, Union (IGBCE) and the Chemical Industry
Employers' Association (BAVC).
