Octopus AIM VCT plc announces that on 28 January 2010 the Company purchased 48,947 Ordinary shares at a price of 73.5p per share.  The Ordinary shares purchased represent 0.17% of the total number of voting rights in the Company before the transaction. These shares will be held in Treasury. Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company is now 31,930,030 Ordinary shares.
